Shadow Boxing is what combat sports atheletes do to help keep conditioned, practice movement and put theory to practice when a sparring partner isn’t available.  The process is simple; stand in your fighting stance (a mirror is good to have but not mandatory) and throw punch/kick combinations against an imagined opponent.  Fighters do this according to the ammount of rounds they have to fight (for example, I used to do shadowbox for 5, 3-minute rounds).

Burns a lot of cals, keeps you lose and feeling confidant.
